Dr. Vijaya Hegde’s vision, carried forward
In 1978, Dr. Vijaya Hegde founded Hegde Hospital with a focus on women’s health, maternity and gynaecology. Through patient trust and referrals, the hospital expanded into surgery, laparoscopy, fertility and paediatrics.
